the past four or three weeks ive been working on the book. im working on a portrait right now and im slowly getting back into commission work, but my clients arent following directions as placing an order so its a bit slow.

though i must say...making a book and learning the ins and outs of it have been quite stressful. if you are gonna make a book with all your artwork go through Blurb. lots of easy to use tools.

I've made some small books myself and yeah it is quiet the task. I mean mine have only been off Lulu and around 20-30 pages but even that was bit daunting. I'll keep blurb in mind next time I make a book for sure. Hopefully your clients get it in gear and things pick up from there.

i havent tried LuLu before but i have heard of it. Blurb has some really interesting, free and customizable page sets. its just somewhat on the pricer side when the book hits around 41-60 pages.

yeah, so far one client did it right with sending me the right info. ill have to do another repost on my FB commission page.

but yeah, have you tried Ni No Kuni yet? im not missing out on another Level 5 game ever.

I take it you enjoyed Rogue Galaxy? I'm looked forward to Ni No Kuni but with work and my backlog of two or three games it'll have to wait for now. Lulu is a bit cheaper then blurb and the tools are okay but when I made my book I premade all the pages prior to uploading them. I went the cheap route because its more of a small portfolio then a book.

sadly i didnt pick up that game. i was chancing that Rogue Galaxy would be posted on the PSN store when Ni No Kuni hit. but christ alive! Ni No Kuni on a 7.1 Yamaha Surround sound is freaking ballistic. i knew the game would be amazing, but i didnt know it would be THAT good. the fact that Studio Ghibli pulled out all the stops on this one just makes it above and beyond. makes me wanna do some fan art again, but in their style! though i might pick up Rogue Galaxy after a few commissions and a debt payment.

I can understand there's titles I'm waiting to join the PSN store as well or waiting for the inevitable HD remake. Hopefully even when the PS4 comes out any games that are re-releases of old titles will be available on both. I'd like to see your art with some of that Ghibli style.
