Nighthawks - The Giant Bomb Edition

Hey everybody some of you have probably seen my Giant Bomb Wallpaper tigerhawk01.deviantart.com/art… know I'm a huge fan of the site. As some of you know Ryan Davis passed away tragically a few months ago, for a group of strangers that have helped me laugh when I'm down week in and week out I felt I had to do something. Creating art is simply the only way I know how to, but I didn't want to just glorify how awesome Ryan was I wanted to highlight the entire crew.

Some of you may recognize the frame work of this piece that's because as I'm sure some of you know is based off Edward Hoppers "Nighthawks". Which has been parodied by the Simpsons to Santa Claus. While the original piece deals with isolation and possibly a sense of depression I wanted to express the polar opposite. Making it a joyous gathering of friends with lots of booze. Nighthawks is my Mona Lisa of art, I could go on and geek out over this piece for hours but I digress. For those of you visiting from Giantbomb thanks for stopping by and here's a list of who's who.
